Graphic Design and Branding Program engages students in interdisciplinary problem-solving, combining visual sensitivity with skill and knowledge in the fields of communication, technology and business. It focuses on using design to address key issues in branding. It examines how design thinking can develop a new brand, improve or expand an existing brand and enhance customer engagement.
This innovative program integrates traditional professional training in graphic design with projects developed using digital and new multi-media systems. It also prepares graduates to work as professionals. Students learn to structure visual information to aid communication in both print and digital and screen-based formats and employ these skills in the creation of advertising, editorial, branding, and information design.

Graphic Design and Branding Program addresses the subject from a broad perspective, covering personal, cultural, international, corporate and commercial identities. It also developing a deeper knowledge of branding and graphic design, the student will gain an understanding of how to develop brand strategies and identities. It is about intellectual engagement, exploration and interaction. The student learns to create messages from the concept stage to the final form while exploring the social and environmental dimensions of communication.
Graphic Design and Branding is one of the majors comprising the Faculty of Art & Design, King Salman University, located at Sharm El-Sheikh. The city is famous worldwide for its international reputation in the field of Art, with numerous International forums and competitions, as it is considered one of the attraction points for artists and art appreciators coming from various countries around the world.
Each year, approximately 40 students.
Any student who gets the minimum required score for the Faculty of Art & Design and who successfully passed the admission exams and interview could apply for the program.
Each student can apply to only one specialization.
Each student can choose his/her specialization before the first academic year.
Each student can change his/her specialization during the first academic year after the approval of his/her academic advisor.
Each student can choose from the elective courses the program offers.

It takes eight semesters/four years to complete the degree.
The degree will be accepted inside and outside Egypt.
To get the degree, each student has to complete 140 credit hours successfully.
If you get the KSIU bachelor’s degree, you can apply for a master’s degree anywhere inside or outside Egypt.
If you have any academic or non-academic problems during your studies, you can contact your academic advisor.
The course contact hours are divided between the lecture room, the computer lab, the art studio and the field trips outside the campus, it is a fun and enjoyable time as well as very valuable to students. The exams are scheduled and announced in advance.
The Graphic Design and Branding Program offers a variety of courses, including university-requirement classes such as critical thinking, climate change and sustainability, and scientific research skills; faculty-requirement courses such as design basics, visual communication, illustration, typography, digital colour theory, graphic studio, Information design & infographics.
The program requires the student to complete the graduation project in the last academic year.
The students will get a validated degree from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.

The program offers a variety of academic and sports activities to students. The educational activities include regular trip visits to cultural and artistic sites, and academic art and design competitions and projects, community service projects in the field of plastic art and graphic design. The non-academic activities include sports activities inside the campus (swimming, tennis, football, volleyball, and handball) and outside campus activities (supervised events, open days).

The Faculty of Art & Design adopts a set of strategies to encourage students to learn:

The Faculty of Art & Design adopts a set of strategies to encourage students at risk who are struggling to study and whose GPA is less than 2:
-Reducing the academic load to 14 credit hours during the semester
-Encouraging students to communicate with faculty members during office hours
-Holding continuous sessions with students at-risk through the academic advisor at least once a month
-Motivating students who are morally distressed
-Use peer and group learning strategies
-Periodically evaluate the performance of the student at-risk students
In addition, the Faculty of Art and Design adopts a set of strategies to encourage outstanding students whose GPA exceeds 3:
-Increasing the academic load to 21 credit hours during the semester
-Motivating outstanding students morally and financially
-Use self-learning strategies
-Use of competitions
The teaching staff is experienced and qualified. The teaching staff adopts various non-traditional teaching methods such as brainstorming, role-playing, gamification, etc. In addition, they carefully listen to students.
The program is designed to equip our graduates with problem-solving techniques, study them in detail, and explore design environments where people grow.
