About
The field of pharmacy offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy – PharmD (Clinical Pharmacy) program. Pharmacy has another, broader and more comprehensive concept, not only limited to pharmaceutical drug knowledge, but also pertains to the development of pharmacist and his professional requirements and roles, which include optimization of Medication Therapy. From this standpoint, a program globally accredited by American, Canadian and other universities has been developed by KSIU. The program is based on many educational strategies, such as flipped classroom to develop student achievement skills, in addition to introducing and presenting information properly and clearly.To optimize the benefits, every student group is assigned an academic advisor who provides guidance on academic and social issues and challenges that they may encounter.
After studying the basic pharmaceutical and clinical courses over a period of five years, students receive in the sixth year a special type of training, which includes many fields, the first: the field of direct contact with the patient and dealing with the medical team and health care, the second: the field of pharmacies inside or outside health institutions, the third: the field of drugs in general, such as drug manufacturing, distribution and storage, etc., and the fourth field of training is: laboratory diagnosis, medical and toxicological analyzes, in addition to research and scientific experience in the light of availability of materials and laboratory resources for all field requirements.
Scientific research in the field of pharmacy is of great importance, as students are assigned research projects that enable them to work on the development of their scientific skills. The student receives a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy – PharmD (clinical pharmacy), which is a certificate recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.
The university aims to build the personality of a graduate who is characterized by professionalism in pharmacy and keeps pace with the research developments and the various environments of this field, which earns him the ability to excel in all fields of pharmacy work at home country and abroad.

- Allocate of places for agricultural and industrial companies and institutions to take the headquarters of interaction with the staff and students and laboratories and cooperate to study the problems faced by different sectors of production and impede the development, and then work to provide solutions (Science stations).
