Academic Job Announcement- The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering
- FACULTY POSITION – Computer Science
The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Science Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking to hire full- or part-time faculty members at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidates must hold A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from a highly reputable university. Areas of special interest are: General Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software engineering and Computer Security. At least 3 years of teaching experience after Ph.D. is required. The applicant must have an excellent command of the English language and excellent use of computers in teaching. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The responsibilities for this position include the following: teaching (3-4 courses / semester), student advising, research and creative activities, service and cooperative extension, and administrative responsibilities. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, laboratory, or telecommunications courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; reviewing written examinations and papers; evaluating presentations and supervising independent study projects.
The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Sciences (Software Engineering, Computer Vision, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Science, and Bioinformatics), and in Computer Engineering (Embedded Systems, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, Computer Security, and Artificial Intelligence in Engineering). - TEACHING ASSISTANT POSITION – COMPUTER SCIENCE
The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (Computer Science Program) at King Salman International University (KSIU), Egypt is seeking hire full-time teaching assistants. The candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a closely related field, and at least 2 years of experience after the bachelor’s. The applicant must have an excellent command of the English language and excellent use of computers in teaching. The candidates must have knowledge and skills related to coding with Java, Python, SQL, visual basic.NET, C#.NET (or C++), Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
