KSIU organizing the 12th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering (ICSIE)

In cooperation with the British University, KSIU organized the 12th International Conference on Software and Information Engineering (ICSIE).

The conference activities included many workshops and talks through video conference, which were titled the Sixth International Conference on Network Technology, and the International Conference on Electronic Engineering and Signal Processing.

The conference also presented more than twenty research papers, most of which discussed popular topics such as Soft Growing Sensors, Big Data Analytics using Complex Networks and Population Analysis, and Mobile Cloud and Software-Defined Networks.

On the sidelines of the conference, Professor Dr. Hisham Ali, Director of the Main Facility for Bioinformation Technology at the University of Nebraska, U.S.A, gave his speech on how to use complex networks and population analysis in analyzing big data and how it can help in discovering cancer cells at an early stage and discovering diseases through wearable devices such as smartwatches and motion sensors.
